Characteristics  

This steel has good wear resistance, high toughness, high hardness, excellent compressive strength, outstanding size stability, excellent corrosion resistance, good polishing and cutting performance, and can easily achieve a mirror finish. It has excellent hardenability, can be air-cooled and hardened, and has excellent machinability.

Processing and Polishing

Under normal conditions (without adding chemicals), the brightness of this steel can reach 90%.

The polishing process is as follows:

1. Use oilstone (from coarse to fine) to grind the surface as follows: #320->800->1200->3000

2. Use sandpaper (from coarse to fine) to grind the surface as follows: #1200->1500->2000->3000

3. Directly polish with #1 diamond paste.

After completing all the above steps, a mirror finish is basically achieved. If any part does not meet expectations, you can redo the steps above, and the problem will be resolved.

Note: When grinding with #1500 and 2000 sandpaper, it is necessary to repeat twice using a cross method.

Due to the high cleanliness of the steel and uniform material, the polishing performance is superior, achieving a high mirror finish.

Note: When polishing, do not apply too much pressure to avoid surface defects.
