Three major reasons and solutions for mold sticking
1、 Mold problems
The mold itself is rough or improperly handled. The solution is zinc plating, chromium plating, and Teflon plating.
2、 Dirt accumulated in the mold
The solution is to clean a small amount with a needle. The main reason for this problem is due to insufficient sulfur, which results in a small amount of accumulated rubber not being cleaned up. If the accumulated rubber sticks to the mold, the more it accumulates, making it impossible for the mold to produce normally. There is also the need to spray more release agents, which can cause a large amount of organic silicon to accumulate in the mold and cause more severe mold sticking. The solution is still to wash the mold.
3、 Rubber formula issue
Firstly, the thermal tearing strength of the rubber material itself is poor. When the mold is relatively rough, it is easy to cause small particles of the rubber material to break inside the mold, causing more and more adhesion. The solution is to use some rubber with high thermal tearing strength, such as natural rubber, to clean the mold.
Another solution is to add internal adhesive or spray external release agent, as the formula itself is too sticky and can easily stick to the mold. However, it is not recommended to use release agents because any release agent will accumulate silicon, and too much silicon will stick to the mold. The mold sprayed with release agent must be electroplated, otherwise it will stick to the mold after washing, which will still damage the mold and affect its service life.
